I love this sentiment so much. I know I’m guilty of feeling lame when I don’t get out into the wilderness for big adventures but I also really love my city walks and the nature trails near my house. Reminds me a lot of Ross Gay’s Book of Delights and paying attention to life’s little adventures
I literally have a copy of The Book of Delights on my desk and flip open to a random page whenever I'm stuck writing. Have you read The Book of (More) Delights?
