True story: I had Injinji toe sock PTSD stemming from the traumatic incident of pacing/crewing a guy who shall remain nameless at the 2017 Hardrock. He insisted that I lube and put on fresh toe socks on his toes at every aid station. It was the most weirdly subservient and disgusting thing I’ve ever had to do. Took me until 2025 to get over it and start using those socks.
I love a great name, and you have two in this week's newsletter. Audi Crooks, and Zoe Rom. The clip on Audi was heartfelt (and awesome). I have watched many of the Trailhead videos you and Zoe have done, I just love her energy!
